How to generate ozone?
An industrial ozone generator usually uses dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) method to generate ozone due to obtaining highest efficiency compared with other methods. DBD can be also called “silent discharge”. DBD ozone generator consists of two electrodes separated by a dielectric material and a narrow gap. A high alternating voltage (AC voltage) is applied between two electrodes. The feed gas, usually oxygen, flows through the narrow gap where the microdischarges take place, which are randomly distributed over the electrode surfaces. Ozone is formed only in these microdischarges.
FAC ozone tube is designed and fabricated with highest technology from our R&D team. It has uniform microdischarges over the electrode surfaces. As a result, the efficiency of ozone generation is about 20 % higher than a conventional ozone tube.
